Sibuu-Siree, Ethiopia

Other spellings, other names: Siree, Sire. Sirie

Province, region: Wollega

Location:Caroline Brennan wrote: This green, mountaeous village with a population of roughly 3,000 to 5,000 is located on the main road west of Addis, roughly 250 km to be exact. The town is 50 km before (east of) the regional capital of Wollega, called Lekemte. It is in an Oromo region and, thus, most locals speak Oromifa. (Oromos make up roughly 60% of the national population.) MORE
